About the job
Based at The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong within Executive Office in Hong Kong, the Hotel Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, service quality and guest satisfaction while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. The Hotel Manager reports to the General Manager.
As Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Main responsibility for the entire operations of F&B, Rooms, Spa, Engineering, Security and IT with direct reporting from that division
Communicate with a variety of corporate departments regarding implementing standards, procedures and policies; provide feedback on companywide initiatives
Be responsible for the implementation of all operational standards and their upkeep, the delivery and execution of appropriate training plans in all operational areas and their updates, based on the hotel KPIs, guest’s comments and service audit results
Handle any issues delegated by the GM or AVP and ensures timely rectifications of service standards when needed
Execute all operational and strategic initiatives that have been discussed, providing feedback and alternatives
Prepare the strategic business plans for the hotel specifically pertaining to Operations
Develop the Department Heads through coaching, mentoring and general communications; use the Balanced Score Card and other appraisal formats as tools for goals and target settings and to engage in feedback
As Hotel Manager, we expect from you:
5 years of professional experience in 5-star hotels
International experience within a luxury hotel
Impeccable professional image combined with good ethics and values
Outstanding communication skills

Must be fully geographically mobile
