HOTEL MANAGER, EXECUTIVE OFFICE

We’re looking for a Hotel Manager to lead our Hotel Operations at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London.

As our next Hotel Manager at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London, we expect from you:

  • To oversee the hotel’s daily operations, including Food & Beverage, Rooms, and Spa & Wellness, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, high colleague productivity, and a safe environment, all while striving for continuous improvement and excellence.
  • To steer the strategic direction of key projects focused on the enhancement and evolution of the hotel’s offerings and guest experience
  • To drive the implementation of both operational and strategic initiatives from the group, translating hotel strategies into seamless execution and operational excellence
  • To stay ahead of industry trends, innovations, and competitor activity to ensure the hotel remains at the forefront of the market.
  • To work closely with the Executive Committee to ensure alignment in striving for hotel business goals.
  • To prioritize and lead efforts in all quality assessments, actively supporting local LQE initiatives to maintain and enhance our standards.
  • To support in the development and coaching of managers and help drive the People & Culture strategy

To be a successful Hotel Manager you will have extensive experience within a senior leadership role in a luxury hospitality environment, you will be an excellent communicator and have a proven track record in managing large and diverse teams. You will be a natural and charismatic leader.

You will have the ability to effectively manage through others, be able to efficiently prioritize to meet deadlines and thrive in a changing environment. This role will require flexibility and the ability to work weekends, to drive and support the operation.
