About the job

Based in the Housekeeping Department in Barcelona, the Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the assigned hotel area to ensure the highest level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. The Housekeeping Supervisor reports to the Assistant Executive Housekeeper.

As Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Ensure daily supervision of Housekeeping operations in the assigned area of the hotel.

  • Conduct inspections of guestrooms, especially for VIPs, early arrivals, and special requests.

  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness in public and back-of-house areas.

  • Ensure all guestroom amenities and supplies are correctly placed and rooms are ready for guest arrival.

  • Report and follow up on any damaged, missing, or sub-standard fixtures or equipment.

  • Handle guest and staff needs with professionalism and efficiency.

  • Conduct daily pre-shift briefings.

  • Train and motivate room attendants and housemen, ensuring standards and service expectations are met.

  • Ensure work areas and equipment are clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a luxury hotel.

  • Good level of English.
