About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Boston within the Housekeeping Department in Boston, Massachusetts, the Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations including a team of Room Attendants, Housepersons, and Turndown Attendants. The Housekeeping Supervisor reports to the Executive Housekeeper.

As Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Coordinate and distribute guest requests and ensure they are addressed.
• Manage early arrivals and VIPs’ special requests.
• Evaluate shift assignments and prioritize workload.
• Inspect rooms to ensure exceptional cleanliness and quality for each guest.
• Other duties as assigned.

As Housekeeping Supervisor, we expect from you: 

• Possess 1-2 years of experience in the Housekeeping department of a luxury hotel or residential property.
• Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills and telephone manner.
