About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen within the Food & Beverage Division in Shenzhen, the In Room Dining Service Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all the daily operation and functions by providing leadership and overall supervision to the colleagues while ensuring a high standard of guest satisfaction. The In Room Dining Service Supervisor reports to the In Room Dining Manager.

As In Room Dining Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• To supervise and participate in running an efficient and profitable operation in the areas for which you are responsible. Liaise with your manager to actively encourage a professional and dedicated team.
• To report and follow up all maintenance defaults affecting efficient and professional delivery of service.
• To respond proactively to guest queries, ensuring that appropriate action is taken in the absence of the manager and assistant manager, followed by effective communication.
• To identify and carry out any specific training and development needs among the team.
• To maintain and order all the store requisition.

As In Room Dining Service Supervisor, we expect from you: 

• Minimum 1 years’ relevant working experience in similar capacity
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Ability to manage and train colleague effectively
• Fluent in both written and spoken Mandarin and English
