Supervisor In Room Dining

About the Job:

The In Room Dining Supervisor will work with the waiters to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction through the accurate and timely delivery of all orders and amenities received per the Order Taker. To provide back up for the Assistant Manager, take responsibility for supervising and coordinating the daily In Room Dining activities and maintaining the highest standard of service established by the hotel.

As Supervisor, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Provide leadership and support for In-Room Dining Assistant Manager and Waiters;
• Leading and supporting the team to ensure smooth, guest-focused service; 
• Providing guidance, feedback, and training to develop team skills and performance; 
• Delivering attentive, professional service and creating memorable guest experiences; 
• Maintaining excellent product knowledge and promoting food, beverage, and service offerings; 
• Upholding Mandarin Oriental’s high standards of service, hygiene, and cleanliness; 
• Ensuring accurate accounting and adherence to operational procedures; 
• Taking ownership of problem-solving and supporting the team in daily challenges; 
• Stepping in for In Room Dining Management when needed and prioritizing personal performance and development. 

As Supervisor, we expect from you: 

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a luxury establishment;
• In-depth knowledge of food and preparation;
• Good knowledge of wine and beverages;
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Excellent knowledge of English language (written and spoken);
• Flexibility to different shift patterns, including mornings, evenings and weekend shifts.
