About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen within the Information Technology Department in Shenzhen, the Information Technology Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Data Processing and dealing with daily operation of computer and telephone technology used in the hotel. The Information Technology Supervisor reports to the Director of Information Technology.

As Information Technology Supervisor, you will be responsible for the following duties: 

• To ensure that all computer technology equipment runs with minimum or no down time.
• To ensure that all software runs with no output errors, no response time problems and according to specifications.
• To solve technical or operational problems as reported by the users.
• To monitor all computer technology contracts and supervise the activities of outside maintenance personnel when they come to the hotel.
• To learn the application packages and implement into the system.

As Information Technology Supervisor, we expect from you: 

• Minimum 1 years’ relevant working experience in similar capacity
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of specific hospitality industry applications is desirable
• Fluent in both written and spoken Mandarin and English
