About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong within Food & Beverage Service Division in Hong Kong, the Junior Bartender - Terrace Boulud is responsible for ensuring guest’s satisfaction by providing efficient and courteous service, while maintaining smooth daily operations and the quality service standard of the bar. The Junior Bartender - Terrace Boulud reports to the Beverage Director - Terrace Boulud.

As Junior Bartender - Terrace Boulud, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Set up the daily bar counter and ensure all condiments needed for food service during the day

• Meet and greet guests in a professional and efficient manner

• Replenish the bar stock and maintain the cleanliness of bar area at all times

• Provide a quality service according to the guest’s needs.

• Prepare food and beverage product according to the standard in a timely manner

• Ensure that the storeroom is clean and all items are stored properly at all times

• Ensure that tables are consistently cleared and re-set properly.

• Promote daily food and beverage sales and actively up-sell whenever appropriate

• Maintain bar tools and equipment in good conditions

• Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the department head from time to time

As Junior Bartender - Terrace Boulud, we expect from you:

• With relevant working experience in similar capacity in hotel Food & Beverage, preferably with pre-opening experience in a luxury hotel

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Good command in spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese communication

• Passionate in customer service and hospitality industry
