About the job
The Marketing Administrator is responsible for assisting the Director of Commercial Strategy, the Director of Marketing and the Marketing Manager in all matters relating to public relations, e-commerce, advertising, collateral, direct mail, promotions and other marketing communications.
As Marketing Administrator, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Communications/PR and Marketing
· Admin to DOCS, DOM and Marketing Manager for marketing, communications and PR related work including scheduling meetings, meeting minutes, travel coordination, expense reports, responses to donation requests, preparing presentations, scanning/copying, filing, etc.
· Responsible for the compilation and archiving of press clippings including the creation of clip books and broadcast compilation DVDs
· Assist with the preparations for journalist visits, spa appointments, reservations site tours, photo shoots, coverage tracking and journalist follow-up
· Assist with package development and liaising with other departments regarding package components
· Assist in the preparation of monthly reports and MarComm meetings notes
· Manage media and influencers database, as well as comp forms and reservations templates for these stays
· Assist with press release development and distribution.
· Responsible for press kit inventory, restock and compilation; or any other hotel circulated collateral.
· Oversee, input and track monthly check book
E-Commerce
· Assist Marketing Manager to monitor and track MONYC’s social media efforts of the hotel under the supervision of the DOC and PR/E-Commerce Manager
· Assist in the development of email marketing campaigns.
· Assist in creating digital marketing campaigns
· Coordinate and prepare the monthly internet/social media reports.
Advertising
Collateral Production
Photography
· Maintain photo library organized
· Assist the Marketing Manager with the coordination of photo shoots and in-house hotel photography
· Assist with the organization and distribution of MONYC’s video library
Direct Marketing
· Assist DOCS with the production of materials for Direct Mail activities
· Assist Marketing Manager with any F&B, Spa and Hotel flyer or internal communication
Promotions and Events
· Assist with development, coordination and implementation of MONYC’s in-house and out-of-house events
· Together with Marketing Manager, DOM and DOCS, liaise with F&B and Spa departments to coordinate hotel promotions and marketing efforts
General Duties
· Perform any other Communications/Marketing-related duties as required by the department heads
As Marketing Administrator, we expect from you:
Desirable
One – two years experience in public relations and/or marketing
Agency or in-house experience
