About the job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Milan within the Marketing Department in Milan, the Marketing intern supports the Team in all matters related to collaterals and content creation, digital marketing, social media and media relations. The Marketing intern reports to the Director of Marketing.
As Marketing intern, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Support the Director of Marketing and Communications, with the final goal to position the hotel as one of the best in Europe
Support the whole Marketing team and the hotel’s departments preparing appropriate graphic tools and collaterals to target local and international guests
Prepare Power Point/Canva presentations to highlight the hotel’s features to travel agencies, partners and third parties
Prepare graphic content for social media
Assist in the creation of promotional and informative tools to highlight the features and initiatives of the hotel
Liaise with the corporate digital team to maintain the website appealing and updated
Assist in coordinating photo and video shootings
Assist in organizing press visits
Liaise with suppliers and marketing partners
Manage hotel database, respecting privacy and confidentiality
Handle correspondence both in Italian and English
Ensure adherence to corporate identity and guidelines
As Marketing intern, we expect from you:
Studies in Marketing and/or Brand/Graphic Design studies are required
Fluent in English and Italian. Other languages are a plus
Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Canva with a demonstrated ability to create visually appealing and innovative presentations and digital content
Strong copywriting skills in both English and Italian, with a keen eye for tone and luxury brand voice
Experience designing digital marketing materials tailored to luxury brands, ensuring brand consistency and high-quality aesthetics
Creative problem-solving skills
Hotel business mix and the “brand” understanding
Energy, passion and enthusiasm
Ability to present ideas in a well-organised manner
Team player
High attention to details
Use of Microsoft programs
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of photography and cataloguing processes
Experience in dealing with a multi-cultural environment
