About the job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich within the Front Office Department in Zurich, the Night Auditor supports the Night Team in daily tasks, ensuring seamless operations throughout the shift. The Night Auditor reports to the Night Manager and Front Office Manager.
As Night Auditor, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
Responsible, together with the night team, for security and guest services at night
Carrying out the closing of the day
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
Responsible for the reception tasks at night
Assisting with billing and invoicing
Friendly check-in and check-out of our guests
Other responsibilities include performing all administrative and operative tasks and ensuring consistent knowledge of our Mission Statement, Pillars and all other service standards
As Night Auditor, we expect from you:
Completed vocational training in the hotel industry. Experience in the Front Office department in the upscale hospitality
Sense of responsibility, teamwork, organizational skills and good time management
Good computer skills, PMS knowledge
Communication skills - guests will come to you with both complaints and positive feedback
Flexibility and resilience - your position will include weekend and holiday shifts
Excellent manners, approachable and well-groomed appearance, as well as a positive charisma
Excellent knowledge of German and English. Other foreign languages are an advantage
Successful applicants must have the right to work in Switzerland
