About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen within the Food & Beverage Division in Shenzhen, the OPUS 388 Restaurants Service Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all the daily operation and functions by providing leadership and overall supervision to the colleagues while ensuring a high standard of guest satisfaction. The OPUS 388 Restaurants Service Supervisor reports to the OPUS 388 Restaurants Manager.

As OPUS 388 Restaurants Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • To supervise and participate in running an efficient and profitable operation in the areas for which you are responsible. Liaise with your manager to actively encourage a professional and dedicated team.
  • To report and follow up all maintenance defaults affecting efficient and professional delivery of service.
  • To respond proactively to guest queries, ensuring that appropriate action is taken in the absence of the manager and assistant manager, followed by effective communication.
  • To identify and carry out any specific training and development needs among the team.
  • To maintain and order all the store requisition.
  • To carry out and supervise daily, weekly and monthly inventory.

As OPUS 388 Restaurants Service Supervisor, we expect from you: 

  • Minimum 1 years’ relevant working experience in similar capacity. Fine dining working experience would be an advantage
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Ability to manage and train colleague effectively
  • Fluent in both written and spoken Mandarin and English
