About the Job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Corporate Office within the Information Technology department in London, the Productivity Solutions & Innovation Manager partners with business teams globally to rapidly prototype, implement, and champion innovative technology solutions. This includes GenAI applications, Microsoft productivity platforms, and other emerging tools that drive efficiency and unlock measurable value.

The role reports to the Director of Tech Innovation & Portfolio Management.

As Productivity Solutions & Innovation Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Partnering with business teams to identify opportunities for technology-driven innovation.

• Rapidly prototyping, testing, and implementing solutions using GenAI and productivity tools.

• Providing day-to-day guidance and strategic ownership of platforms including SharePoint, Teams, Power Automate and Smartsheet, including roadmap and governance.

• Collaborating with IT Services, Engineering, and Security to ensure platforms remain secure, stable, and well configured.

• Defining business requirements and ensuring solutions are fit-for-purpose.

• Leading adoption efforts and driving excitement around new technologies.

• Designing and delivering targeted training and enablement sessions for business users.

• Translating technical concepts into actionable business solutions.

• Monitoring usage, performance, and impact of implemented tools.

• Staying current on GenAI and emerging technology trends and recommending relevant innovations.

• Ensuring compliance with organisational standards for data privacy, security, and ethics.

• Supporting change management to ensure smooth transitions to new tools and processes.

• Documenting best practices, lessons learned, and success stories.

• Building a culture of innovation and experimentation across the organisation.

• Liaising with external partners and vendors to explore new opportunities.

As Productivity Solutions & Innovation Manager, we expect from you:

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent experience.

• Hands-on experience with emerging technologies including GenAI and the Microsoft suite.

• Proven success in prototyping and implementing technology solutions.

• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.

• Proficiency with prototyping tools, basic programming (e.g., Python), and AI frameworks.

• Excellent communication skills, particularly in engaging and training business users.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively across teams.

• Creativity, adaptability, and a passion for continuous innovation.

• Practical experience with Microsoft productivity tools (Teams, SharePoint, Power Platform).
