Based at the Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus, Istanbul the Quality Manager is responsible for to take full responsibility for all FLHSS related activities; establishing and implementing security policies and procedures in accordance with Mandarin Oriental corporate guidelines and ensure compliance with all local and applicable regulations.



As "Quality Manager", you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • To implement the MOHG Security Policies, Standards and Guidelines in the context of the circumstances and conditions of the hotel.
  • To be intimately knowledgeable of Health, Safety, Fire and Security related rules and regulations pertaining to MOIST Hotel and all shared areas with the Company Management
  • To create a safe and secure environment for all guests, colleagues and visitors.
  • To develop and implement the Standard Operating Procedures for the department and operational departments of the hotel.
  • To ensure that all fire and safety equipment in an establishment are in good shape at all times.
  • To make sure that there are well-developed plans for easy evacuation of people in a building in the case of an emergency evacuation.
  • To develop and deliver training programs for all employees on all OSHA related rules and regulations.
  • To make sure that the emergency stairs and corridors are obstacle free and accessible.
  • To control all fire call points and fire extinguisher are in perfect functional conditional.
  • To ensure evacuation route symbols and signage are in perfect functional conditional.
  • With the Hotel nurse, to check all first aid points if everything is in the right place.
  • To review and follow-up on all incident, loss, and accident reports in accordance with Safe, Sound and Sustainable Policies.

As "Quality Manager", we expect from you:

  • To ensure all documentation following incidents are completed and followed up.
  • To carry out risk assessments in the workplace for the Security Department and support Department Heads in completing their own assessments.
  • To act as the main contact and coordinate the annual MOHG internal Safe & Sound audit.
  • To develop and train all colleagues in MOHG hygiene procedure preparedness.
  • To ensure the protection of hotel assets.
  • To maintain a good working relationship with other departments and contractors.
  • To maintain liaison with local law enforcement agencies.
  • To set examples for all colleagues to emulate by complying with all hotel policies and procedures.
  • To maintain a high ethical standard the Security colleagues would emulate.
  • To ensure personal compliance with the Data Protection Act, (KVKK), (GDPR) and any other specific legislation that impacts upon, and exists to protect, the corporate health of the organization, whether relating to personnel management or service delivery.
  • To carry out any other duties that may be reasonably requested by the Department Head.
