About the job
Based at Mandarin Oriental Lutetia, Paris within the Reservations Department reports to the Director of Reservations.
As Reservations Agent, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Under the supervision of the Reservation Manager, your main mission is to maximize hotel occupancy and room revenue in line with the sales strategy.
You will handle all reservations in a personalized manner, received through various channels such as phone and email.
You will ensure follow-up and control of all reservations.
You will promote the hotel’s various services to guests in order to anticipate their needs.
You will coordinate with the hotel’s different departments and ensure client profiles (Cardex) are completed and kept up to date.
As Reservations Agent we expect from you:
You have previous experience in a similar position within the upscale hospitality sector.
Your interpersonal skills, active listening, and enthusiasm are true assets for this role.
Fluency in English is required, along with a third language.
Knowledge of Opera (PMS) is preferred.
