About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok within the Food and Beverage Department, Le Normandie’s Restaurant General Manager is responsible for excelling in fine dining service, team leadership, and guest experience, ensuring world-class standards and operational excellence. The Restaurant General Manager reports to the Director of Food and Beverage.

As Restaurant General Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring Michelin-star standards in service, guest experience, and team performance.
• Drive excellence in quality, efficiency, and profitability while maintaining brand integrity and innovation.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team to uphold exceptional service and hospitality standards.
• Collaborate with culinary and operations teams to enhance guest satisfaction, optimise efficiency and maintain financial sustainability.

As Restaurant General Manager, we expect from you: 

• This role calls for an experienced leader with a strong background in French fine dining, exceptional operational expertise, and a dedication to maintaining the restaurant’s prestigious reputation.
• Experience in luxury dining within Asia is highly valued. The chosen candidate will collaborate with Michelin-starred chefs to bring this exciting new project to life, with the reopening set for the end of the year.
• Uphold the highest standards of service, guest experience, and operational excellence. This role requires strong leadership to develop and inspire the team, ensuring seamless collaboration with the culinary and operations teams.
