About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Munich the Restaurant Manager – Matsuhisa Munich & Roof Terrace is responsible for the “Matsuhisa Munich” and our rooftop restaurant “Munich Sushi Club”. The Restaurant Manager – Matsuhisa Munich & Roof Terrace reports to the Director of Food & Beverage.

As Restaurant Manager – Matsuhisa Munich & Roof Terrace, you will responsible for the following duties:

• Responsible for the smooth operation of the Matsuhisa Munich and Munich Sushi Club
• Maintains a complete working knowledge of the menu, wine list and any special promotions
• Vacation and duty roster planning for both departments
• Contact person for guest requests and complaints
• Control of mise en place for the daily business
• Ensuring compliance with all Mandarin Oriental and HACCP standards

As Restaurant Manager – Matsuhisa Munich & Roof Terrace, we expect from you:

• Experience in a similar work environment and in a manager position
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Structured and organized way of working
• Ability to work in a team and on your own initiative
• Very good communication skills in German and English
