As a Food & Beverage Rising Fan at Mandarin Oriental Muscat, we expect from you:
18-months of intensive learning and development
Rotation across different departments within the division.
Increasing responsibilities with every rotation.
Possibility to cross exposure to other divisions within the hotel.
Key projects to lead.
To be a successful F&B Rising Fan candidate, you:
Have twelve months of industry experience
Are authentic, curious and a natural leader
Are an innovative thinker and are results driven
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills - guests will come to you with both complaints and positive feedback
Are looking for an international career
You will be expected complete tasks below.
A written report (maximum 2 pages or 5–7 slides) should cover the following:
1. Our Outlet:
Key strengths and weaknesses
Signature products or services
Guest feedback trends (from TripAdvisor, Google Reviews, and social media)
2. Two Competitors:
What do they do better than us?
What do guests praise or complain about?
How do they differentiate themselves?
3. Improvement Suggestions:
Three actionable ideas we can implement (small or large)
At least one idea should relate to operations or team efficiency
Prepare a 10-minute presentation to deliver to F&B leaders (Can, Raymond, Felix, and a P&C representative).
