About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Paris within the Food and Beverage Division the Rising Fan is reporting to the Food & Beverage Director. His role is to provide support to various operational departments, assisting department heads in their most general tasks right up to the management of various projects. 

The Management Trainee will be able to increase his/her skills and autonomy as he/she assumes increasing responsibilities. They will also receive know-how from seasoned managers, take part in coaching sessions led by our Training Manager, and have access to the eCornell online platform.

The aim of this program is to gain a 360-degree view of the F&B department, and to achieve and surpass the objectives set, so as to ultimately be eligible for a supervisory position. 

The Management Trainee will have the opportunity to progress in the following departments: our Bar 8, our Banqueting department, our In Room Dining, our Stewarding department and our Camélia restaurant.

As Rising Fan, we expect from you: 

  • At least one year's experience (including internships and work-study programs) in the hotel sector
  • Demonstrate rigor, organization and dynamism
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to always delight and satisfy customers
  • Ability to make suggestions
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluency in French and English
  • Other languages are a plus.
