As Sales Coordinator you will work closely with the Director of Commercial Strategy, Director of Sales and the Sales Team to ensure a smooth and effective operation of the division. You will act as a link between the Sales Team and various other hotel departments to ensure an excellent property communication and collaboration and you will be responsible to handle all the administrative requirements of the sales office.
Prepares proposals, contracts, and corporate rate agreements in alignment with hotel standards.
Ensures all requests are handled within the time frames established by the company.
Updates all activities related to account management in the system and adheres to MOHG standards.
Tracks sales performance, productivity reports, and account activities for the Sales Team.
Monitors and maintains the accuracy of account classifications and production tracking.
Generates daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports as required.
Assists with the coordination and execution of sales trips, trade shows, and client events.
Supports the planning and smooth execution of site inspections to ensure a luxury-standard guest journey.
Conducts site inspections as required to support the Sales Team.
Coordinates VIP amenities and special requests for sales-related arrivals when needed.
Participates in client entertainment activities with the Sales Team as required.
Conducts joint sales calls with the Sales Team as required.
Services assigned accounts and supports efforts to grow market share.
Builds strong relationships with customers, guests, and team members to fully understand their needs and supports efforts to serve them effectively.
Communicates effectively with all hotel departments, especially Reservations, Conference & Events, Front Office, and Food & Beverage.
Supports customer loyalty and brand standards by delivering service excellence throughout each client interaction.
Utilizes all available on-the-job training tools for colleagues.
Maintains an excellent working relationship with colleagues across the hotel.
Sets a positive example in all interactions and work practices. Attends weekly and monthly department meetings and takes accurate minutes.
Senior school qualifications
Degree or Higher National Diploma equivalent in Hospitality/Hotel/Business Management
Minimum 2 years of experience working in a 5-star hotel environment within Admin Roles.
Strong administrative skills.
Previous experience in the GCC an advantage.
Must be excellent in using computer and well versed in all computer applications.
Charming and outgoing with excellent interpersonal skills for both external and internal customers.
Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative.
Positive attitude and good communicator.
Ability to plan and organize workload.
Effective time management, communication and presentation skills.
Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.
Able to solve problems.
Commitment to delivering high standards of customer service.
Fluent in English and an additional language will be an advantage.
