About the job
Based at the Athens Offices of Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino within the Sales & Marketing Department, the Senior Marketing & Communications Executive will ensure seamless coordination and implementation of all Marketing Communications activities at Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino, acting as the key liaison between the resort and the Marketing team. The Senior Marketing Communications Executive, who will be supporting the Director of Marketing and Communications, will safeguard brand consistency across all materials and channels, support the execution of 360 campaigns, oversee the content production and on-property communications and contribute valuable market and industry insights to keep the resort at the forefront of luxury hospitality.
As Senior Marketing & Communications Executive, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Coordinate all operational marketing needs (on-property screens, menus, on-property signage, in-rooms materials, other collateral requests etc.).
Draft, edit and coordinate all outgoing materials & communications: factsheets, newsletters, media kits, joint newsletters (e.g. with sales’ partners), ensuring adherence to global brand guidelines (copy, visuals, tone of voice) for every visual or written material produced – whether by the Marketing team or other departments (e.g. sales presentations, internal documents etc.).
Track competitors’ marketing and comms activities (online presence, PR coverage and partnerships) to identify benchmark performance and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
Stay informed on emerging trends in hospitality, luxury travel, F&B, and wellness, sharing insights and best practices with the team to inspire new initiatives and keep MOCNA’s approach fresh & competitive.
Coordinate all stages of content production. Manage on-site logistics during shoots, create ordinos, and coordinate the hotel teams.
Brief the team on paid campaigns’ goals globally / targeting (markets, demographics etc.).
Support the Commercial Strategy team on co-branded activations (luxury brands, airlines, DMCs, media).
Track invoices, assist with POs, and monitor marketing-related expenses.
As Senior Marketing & Communications Executive, we expect from you:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
Candidates with a Master’s degree will be given priority consideration.
Minimum 4 years of experience in communications, preferably in the hospitality / luxury / travel sectors.
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office.
A solutions-oriented, collaborative, proactive individual with strong communication skills.
A flexible and resilient approach with the ability to work under pressure and in a fast paced and demanding environment.
Excellent writing and editing skills in Greek and English.
Proven ability to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns.
