SERVICE ATTENDANT – PUBLIC AREA

About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur / within the Housekeeping Department in Kuala Lumpur, the Service Attendant – Public Area is responsible for the high standard of cleanliness of restaurants, restrooms, offices, public areas and external parameters to ensure that high standard of cleanliness is maintained. The Service Attendant – Public Area reports to the Housekeeping Supervisor/ Assistant Housekeeper/ Director of Housekeeping.

As Service Attendant – Public Area, you will be responsible for the following duties: 


•    Performs routine duties in cleaning and servicing of restaurants, restrooms, offices and other areas under the supervision of a Housekeeping Supervisor
•    Promote positive image of the property to guests and must be pleasant, honest, friendly and should also be able to address guest requests and relevant inquiries.
•    Ensures all cleaning supplies, equipment and chemicals in utility trolley are sufficient and proceeds to the assigned area
•    Ensures that cleaning is done systematically
