About the job

Based at Mandarin Oriental, Singapore within the Spa Department in Singapore, the Spa Concierge is responsible in ensuring exceptional guest service by managing reception, retail, relaxation areas and sales. Other duties include booking treatments, assisting guests, maintaining inventory, handling inquiries, and supporting smooth spa operations. The Spa Concierge reports to the Treatment Manager. 

As Spa Concierge, you will be responsible for the following duties: 

  • To ensure that a high standard of service is maintained throughout the Spa.
  • Assist in the operations of all spa departments as required:
    • 1. Front Desk
    • 2. Spa Retail Area
    • 3. Relaxation Area
    • 4. Sales and Marketing of Spa treatments and retail items
  • Report dysfunctional equipment to Spa Operations Supervisor
  • To maintain inventory of supplies for the operations of the spa reception
  • Must have the ability to courteously interact and answer all spa and hotel-related questions with guests in various mode of communication (face-to-face, telephone or emails).
  • Will perform as a professional, with a friendly business attitude and conduct all duties and responsibilities as required by the position, or assigned by the Spa Operations Supervisor
  • To ensure a warm friendly welcome to all guests at all times. Greets all guests upon their arrival, gives new guests tours of property and offers return guests "re-orientations". Courtesy to guests and other members of staff at all times.
  • Ensure that the reception area is tidy, clean and stocked at all times.
  • Print confirmation letters and pull files for the next business day.
  • To communicate all messages promptly and to keep the Manager-On-Duty informed as to any complaints.
  • To assist in the smooth flow of the guests journey throughout the day.
  • To perform opening and closing duties.
  • To have a thorough understanding of Spa operations, all treatments offered in the spa and all retail products.
  • Prepare gift certificates and make pre-payment arrangements
  • To perform all daily assigned Spa Concierge Tasks


As Spa Concierge, we expect from you:

  • Candidate must possess good customer service and communication skills in English
  • Keen interest in the spa and wellness industry
  • At least 1 year of experience in similar capacity
  • 5 days week, rostered work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
