Based at Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca, within the hotel's Purchasing Department, this role will assist the Receiving Clerk in overseeing the hotel’s business control related to storage.
Duties and Responsibilities
Store Management:
Replenish store stock in accordance with authorized par stock levels.
Monitor store orders and report any incidents.
Ensure that the receiving area and storage are kept clean and organized at all times.
Transfer Management:
Manage storage merchandise requests from different departments.
Deliver requested goods to the designated area.
Review stock shortages for requested items, notify relevant parties, and provide solutions.
Comply with and enforce storage management policies and procedures.
Report incidents.
Goods Reception:
Ensure compliance with MOMAL's quality standards, following all required protocols.
Assist in the receiving process, conducting a comprehensive inspection of:
Notify departments of product arrivals in a timely manner.
Ensure that no products are received without an approved purchase order, except in pre-authorized exceptional cases.
Support the receiving clerk in recording delivery temperatures.
Register deliveries in the purchasing system.
