About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Paris within the Restaurant Camelia, the Supervisor will oversee and be personally involved in all operational aspects of a particular shift to ensure that all service steps are followed and that every customer is delighted. In addition, the supervisor will support restaurant management with administrative tasks.

As Restaurant Supervisor, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Preparing the dining room setup in accordance with the hotel’s service standards to ensure a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Greeting guests and ensuring high-quality table service throughout their dining experience.
• Monitoring guest satisfaction and handling any complaints or special requests with professionalism.
• Coordinating with the kitchen, to guarantee smooth service operations.
• Assisting the Restaurant Manager and Assistant Manager in supervising the team and ensuring service standards are met.
• Training and supporting team members to maintain a high level of service and efficiency.
• Having an excellent knowledge of the menu, including daily specials, to advise and upsell to guests confidently.

As Restaurant Supervisor, we expect from you: 

• Be thorough, organized, attentive, and courteous.
• Hospitality industry diploma
• Good interpersonal and management skills.
• Successful experience in hospitality industry
• Initiative and enthusiasm.
• Proficiency in English.
