HOUSEKEEPING & PUBLIC AREA ATTENDANT, ONE HYDE PARK

39 hours, 5 days per week

We’re looking for a Housekeeping & Public Area Attendant to join our Housekeeping team at One Hyde Park.

One Hyde Park is London’s most iconic address: designed by pre-eminent architect Richard Rogers, the development of 85 apartments and three exclusive boutiques within four pavilions is known to be the most luxurious address in London.

Serviced by the award-winning owner and operator of some of the world’s most prestigious hotels, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, One Hyde Park is one of 22 residences under the group and offers the same luxurious, kind and generous service to the residents as Mandarin Oriental offers their guests.

As a Housekeeping & Public Area Attendant at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London, you will be responsible for:

  • Consistently achieving the required standards of cleanliness and presentation of all public and communal areas,
  • Recognising and reporting all missing or damaged furniture, fixtures and equipment as they occur,
  • Following the rota as specified by the Housekeeping Manager and ensure daily extra duties are carried out,
  • Working safely and ensuring company standards, including all SOPs, of cleaning, hygiene and personal appearance are maintained.

As a Housekeeping & Public Area Attendant, you will be working on a rotating shift basis, Monday to Sunday, 39 hours a week. Shift patterns will vary from morning to evening (including weekends and bank holidays), so flexibility is required where applicable.

To be a successful Housekeeping & Public Area Attendant candidate, you will have:

  • Previous Housekeeping or professional cleaning experience, preferably in a luxury environment,
  • Excellent attention to detail,
  • Efficient in multi-tasking in high pressure environments,
  • Excellent communication skills.
