Mandarin Oriental Muscat is looking for an Assistant Marketing Communications Manager to join our Sales and Marketing team.

 Responsibilities

· Support the Assistant Director of Marketing Communications in executing the hotel’s brand strategy across all channels.

· Coordinate photo and video shoots to ensure assets reflect the hotel’s positioning and support campaign needs.

· Maintain and update the hotel’s website and social media platforms with fresh, engaging, and brand-consistent content.

· Coordinate and assist in the development of integrated marketing campaigns, including digital, print, and PR.

· Assist in developing marketing collateral such as brochures, flyers, and in-room materials.

· Consolidate and create content that aligns with brand standards, campaign goals, and budgetary guidelines.

· Maintain consistency in storytelling, tone, and visual identity across all marketing materials.

· Assist in managing strategic partnerships, influencer collaborations, and media relationships.

· Monitor campaign performance and contribute to reporting and optimisation strategies.

· Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure high-quality creative output.

· Support media outreach efforts, including press releases, media hosting, and press kit development.

· Help elevate the hotel’s brand presence through targeted communications.

· Ensure compliance with brand guidelines across all marketing channels.

· Lead the training and development of reporting team members.

Education & Certificates

· Senior School qualifications or equivalent is mandatory

· Degree or Higher National Diploma equivalent in hospitality/hotel/business Management is an advantage

Experience

· Minimum 2 year of experience working in a 5-star hotel, luxury retail, agency or marketing environment in a similar role

· Previous working experience in the Middle East is an advantage

· Hotel pre-opening experience is a great advantage

Skills

· Excellent communication skills

· Good verbal and written communication in English

· Ability to follow up and complete tasks according to plan

· Highly competent in using Word, Excel and Powerpoint
