Assistant Restaurant Manager

Mandarin Oriental Mayfair is looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our vibrant and dynamic Akira Back team.

About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Mayfair within the Akira Back Department in London, the Assistant Restaurant will play an integral part in facilitating an experience like London has never known. The contribution of your leadership will guide the team through the successful operations of Akira Back, the most prolific, astounding outlet on property. The Assistant Restaurant Manager reports to the Restaurant General Manager.

As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will responsible for the following duties:

  • Be able to retain a high level of product knowledge relating to Akira Back’s intricate food and cocktail menus.
  • Be the right hand of the Restaurant General Manager and assist in developing and executing the vision for strategy and steps of service.
  • Be comfortable communicating professionally and charismatically to the aesthete of the world.
  • Be able to work quickly, efficiently and elegantly in a high volume atmosphere amongst high profile clientele.

As Assistant Restaurant Manager, we expect from you: 

  • To be flexible with shift pattern. Weekend and Bank Holidays coverage will be required.
