About the Role

As Barman at Mandarin Oriental Ritz, Madrid, within the Food & Beverage department, you will be responsible for delivering an outstanding beverage experience at Jardín del Ritz, ensuring the highest standards of mixology, service, and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Bar and F&B teams to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
• Prepare and execute classic and modern cocktails at a world-class level.
• Engage with guests, providing expert recommendations and suggesting suitable alternatives.
• Monitor, restock, and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
• Ensure full compliance with cleanliness, hygiene, and Safe & Sound standards.
• Support the Bar teams in the development and execution of the beverage menu.
• Maintain constant communication with colleagues to anticipate guest needs and manage service flow.
• Create memorable moments through personalized and attentive bar service.

What We Expect from You

• Previous experience in guest-focused hospitality, preferably in bars or luxury environments.
• In-depth knowledge of classic and modern cocktails.
• Strong understanding of wine, beer, and spirits.
• Excellent judgment in the responsible service of alcohol.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn and grow.
• Good command of Spanish and English; additional languages are an advantage.
