About the Job 

Based at Mandarin Oriental, Geneva, within the Ottolenghi Department, the Barman/maid is responsible for mixing cocktails and preparing drinks behind the bar. The Barman/maid reports directly to the Restaurant Manager and the Bars Manager. 

As Barman/maid, you will be responsible for: 

• Contributing, on a daily basis, to the smooth running of their department, in accordance with Mandarin Oriental guidelines and standards and local practices. 

• Fulfilling customer orders. 

• Adhering to HACCP hygiene standards. 

As Barman/maid we expect from you: 

• A passion for service and attention to detail. 

• Previous service and bar experience in a luxury hotel or fine dining environment preferred. 

• Team spirit, curiosity, and a desire to learn and grow. 

• Good communication skills and a flexible attitude. 

• Fluency in English and French, another European language is a plus. 

• A valid Swiss work permit or EU passport.
