About the job
Based at Mandarin Oriental Lutetia, Paris within the Conciergerie team, the Head Concierge is responsible for the following duties:
You will work with your team to continuously develop the quality and brand image of the hotel, thereby contributing to the achievement of our qualitative and quantitative objectives (satisfaction of both external and internal guests, profitability, etc.).
In this capacity, you will be responsible for training, developing, and leading the team under your supervision. You will foster and promote within the team a climate of trust that encourages cooperation, knowledge sharing, and the pursuit of excellence.
You will have the ability to lead projects and will be expected to make proactive recommendations regarding decisions related to the organization of your department’s work. This will help ensure optimal working conditions for our employees while delivering impeccable service quality to our guests.
Your strong sense of quality, service, and attention to detail will drive you to continuously pursue excellence, including, where necessary, the development of new methods, procedures, and processes—whether technical, operational, or organizational.
You will inform guests about the various hotel services and local cultural activities. You will handle reservations to meet guest requests, act proactively, and develop business relationships with all our service providers.
