The beachfront resort comprises of 99 suites and villas, all with outdoor terraces and sea views, along with seven restaurants and bars.
About the job
Based at Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino within the Culinary Department in Pylos, Messenia, Greece, the Chef De Partie is responsible to carry out kitchen duties whilst ensuring smooth, coordinated team effort in the kitchen. The Chef De Partie reports to the Junior Sous Chef.
As Chef De Partie, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Report operational issues to the Executive Chef and Chef de Cuisine.
Attend all training sessions and participate in special events, promotions, and demonstrations.
Maintain a clean, presentable uniform and ensure personal hygiene.
Work closely with sous chefs on daily operations and food quality control.
Ensure proper food handling, monitor raw food availability, and inspect incoming goods.
Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.
As Chef De Partie, we expect from you:
EU Passport or valid Residence Permit is mandatory in order to work in Greece.
Globally recognized culinary qualification.
Degree in Hotel and Catering Management will be considered a plus.
3 years of culinary experience.
Reading, writing and verbal proficiency in English and Greek.
Ability to be flexible regarding shifts.
