Duties and responsibilities:
Assist guests with their requests and plans for their stay in our Resort and Lake Como
Offer a warm, sincere and personalized welcome to all guests
Create special conversations with guests, which identify personal preferences, in order to record them in each guest's profile history
Organize all transportation requirements for the hotel's guests, having an in-depth knowledge of directions, travel time and costs of various transport options
Arrange dining reservations, activities and other leisure experiences within or outside the Resort
Maintain an updated online agenda of all guests' requests, reservations and confirmations
Be proactive and anticipate the complete requirements to make the experience a real success and enquire as to the success or enjoyment of the recommendations made
Maintain a constantly updated database with extensive information about city highlights as well as a sufficient level of brochures, maps and handouts
Be knowledgeable of all in-house and arriving guests as well as all daily events in the Resort or other situations that might impact our guests’ stay
Act as a guide when guests ask for direction and physically assist them to their destination within the Resort
Share all the important information to the management and the other departments’ colleagues related to the guests' experiences or suppliers
Maintain a clean, tidy and organized desk
Other activities as deemed appropriate by the management
Requirements:
Two-years experience as a Concierge within a 5-star luxury resort/hotel
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in English, Italian and, preferably, in an additional language
A good knowledge of Lake Como area is preferred
Able to multi-task and problem-solve
Able to work well in a team environment
Must be professional and possess excellent presentation, communication, organization and effective time-management skills
Flexible schedules and working hours plus the availability to work on weekends & holidays are required
