  • Lead the IT team to oversee day-to-day IT operations, including system development, network administration, IT infrastructure, security control and technical support services for internal colleagues and external guests
  • Manage IT Teams and Business & Technology Services Team properly to ensure the teams are aligned and meet the desired objectives
  • Drive communications and relations related to every aspect of technology both internally and externally and drive the vision of industry-leading technology delivery to our guests and colleagues
  • Create and continually nurture a strong and unified culture throughout the hotel population concerning the initial acceptance, ongoing promotion, and streamlined support of the technology offerings and experience which we will be delivered to our guests
  • Build a close relationship with the corporate office, our partners, and our suppliers, and keeping a close eye on the competition and upcoming trends. To ensure that the hotels will always be moving in the proper progressive direction and successfully continuously delivering the best service
  • Report to the Hotel Manager periodically to identify areas where technology can be further leveraged for greater gains; both in overcoming challenges and in creating new and unique opportunities
  • Provide on-going support and ensure good health of the Telephony architecture
  • Update IT Policies & Procedures in accordance with changes in the IT environment and as required by the corporate office’s policies
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the trends in Technology, in particular regarding malware protection and PCI compliance
  • Oversees troubleshooting, systems backups, archiving, and disaster recovery and provides expert support when necessary
  • Manage the relationship with the vendor in order to provide unparalleled services to our guest
  • Actively manage and communicate requirements of our guests to ensure that all expectations are met and exceeded
  • Prompt response to all guest complaints and comments related to Information Technology in a professional way
  • Coordinate and work with the team to ensure the policies and methodologies are standardized respectively
  • Prepare and manage the annual departmental operating budget as well as capital expenditure and manpower budgets for the IT Team and Business & Technology Services Team are all within budget and timeline
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties or projects
