As the Director of IT, you will be responsible for the strategic direction and operation of the IT Department. You will have the overall responsibility for the organisation’s networks, systems, hardware, software, and cloud computing operations following local and MOHG guidelines. Develop a continuous process of education for the operational users in system usage to achieve business goals. Monitor and manage all service level agreements to ensure consistent and timely service delivery of all vendors. Execute assigned tasks independently and ensure colleagues in the IT Department are coached and guided.

 

The mail focus of your job will be:

  • Develop and implement the hotel’s IT strategy in alignment with business objectives.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the IT department, ensuring high performance, security, and availability of all systems.
  • Manage hardware, software, networks, and telecommunications systems to support business needs.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance guest experiences through innovative technological solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate IT policies, local regulations, and industry standards.
  • Plan and execute IT budgets, monitor expenses, and negotiate with vendors for cost-effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify and address technology needs across operations.
  • Manage and mentor the IT team, fostering professional growth and skill development.
  • Monitor and respond to cybersecurity risks, ensuring data integrity and system security.

 

What we expect from you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in IT leadership roles, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, network systems, property management systems and cybersecurity protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills in English; Czech language is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a similar position (ideally in a luxury hotel)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Detail orientation and high quality
