Conservatorium Hotel is looking for a Director of People & Culture to lead our People & Culture team.

As Director of People & Culture you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Lead and execute the hotel’s People & Culture strategy, aligning it with business goals and Mandarin Oriental standards.
• Oversee all HR functions including talent acquisition, compensation & benefits, learning & development, and colleague relations.
• Foster a positive work culture through engagement initiatives, grievance management, and employee well-being programs.
• Partner with department heads on workforce planning, organizational development, and performance management.
• Ensure legal compliance, including labour law adherence, employment contracts, and safety & health policies.
• Drive training and career development programs, including onboarding, leadership development, and internal promotions.
• Monitor HR systems, metrics, and processes for efficiency, innovation, and continuous improvement.

As Director of People & Culture we expect from you: 

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related field.
• Proven experience in senior HR leadership, ideally within luxury hospitality or international environments.
• Fluent in English and Dutch with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership, influencing, and organizational abilities with a strategic mindset.
• In-depth knowledge of Dutch labour laws, HR practices, and compliance standards.
• High level of integrity, discretion, and emotional intelligence.
• Passionate about creating an inclusive, engaging, and high-performance work environment.
