Director of Revenue Management

As Director of Revenue Management you will be a highly strategic and results driven and will be responsible for successful leading the hotel’s revenue strategy and execution. This senior role is responsible for driving revenue performance through data-driven analysis, effective forecasting, and dynamic pricing strategies across all segments and distribution channels.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement a consistent, rational pricing and yield strategy across all channels and market segments, in alignment with Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group’s pricing philosophy and regional/corporate directives.
  • Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly forecasts (including day-by-day projections) for all transient segments, group business (in collaboration with Sales and Conference Services), and other revenue streams as required.
  • Lead weekly revenue meetings, including preparation of agenda and analysis. Facilitate collaboration and input from all key commercial stakeholders.
  • Oversee the development of the rooms budget for both transient and group segments in consultation with the Sales and Groups teams. Lead budget presentations, analysis, and discussions with regional and corporate teams.
  • Monitor and analyse competitor pricing, availability, and promotional strategies, providing insights and recommendations based on market trends.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop the Revenue and Reservations teams to ensure the successful implementation of revenue strategies and operational excellence.

To be a successful Director of Revenue Management you will have:

  • Proven experience in a Revenue Management leadership role within the luxury hospitality sector.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of forecasting, budgeting, and pricing strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams while fostering strong cross-departmental relationships.
  • A highly analytical mindset, attention to detail, and excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • A collaborative and strategic business partner who thrives in a dynamic, results-oriented environment.
