About the Role
As Housekeeping Supervisor at Mandarin Oriental Paris, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all areas of the hotel meet the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. You will supervise a team of housekeeping staff and ensure that each guest enjoys a flawless and memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the housekeeping team to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure they meet the hotel’s standards.
  • Assist in training and developing housekeeping staff to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.
  • Provide leadership and motivation to the team, ensuring efficiency and a positive work environment.
  • Ensure all guest rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standard, including replenishing amenities and linens.
  • Respond to guest requests or complaints regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor and maintain the inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and other housekeeping materials, ensuring stock levels are adequate.
  • Assist in scheduling staff shifts and coordinating resources to meet daily operational needs.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and hotel policies.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

What We Expect From You:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position in a luxury hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with both guests and colleagues.
  • Fluent in French and English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
  • Knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning materials, and equipment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
