The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for maintaining a clean, well-stocked section assigned. He/she is responsible for maintaining cleanliness on guest rooms, guest floors and hallways assigned.
He/she ensures that all guestroom standards with regards to set up and cleanliness are consistently maintained at a very high level in accordance with all Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group Policies and Procedures.
He/she is responsible for resolving colleague’s needs and creating a climate of mutual respect and enthusiasm.
Key Responsibilities:
Drives Quality Assurance towards MOHG standards.
Allocates and coordinates the teams in early and late shifts.
Ensures smoothly run floors and impeccable guest rooms with attention to details.
Inspects guest rooms and suites.
Provides regular training for the team.
Manages the cleanliness of storage areas.
Handles all guest requests and guest complaints to ensure satisfaction.
Manages communication with colleagues and other departments.
Actively reviews processes and voices ideas and suggestions.
Supervises and provides laundry & pressing services.
Completes department relevant administrative tasks.
Works on projects and special assignments.
Conducts team briefings and meetings.
Manages and coordinates flower orderings and purchasing requests.
Delights guests and colleagues
Manages lost & found.
Other reasonable tasks may be assigned by the direct manager or a senior manager on duty.
