About the job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca within the Marketing & Commerce department, the Marketing Executive is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate administrative tasks, reporting, and coordination. The role involves maintaining records, assisting in inquiries and events, and supporting the team in achieving marketing goals through both operational and strategic activities.
As a Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for the following duties:
To coordinate all the admin works within the marketing department.
To support all marketing strategies to promote the hotel.
To manage and optimize digital marketing campaigns, including social media, email, and paid advertising, to increase brand visibility and guest engagement.
To collaborate with the sales team to create tailored promotional materials and packages that appeal to high-end clientele.
To monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activities, and guest feedback to refine marketing strategies and stay ahead of industry demands.
To oversee content creation for all marketing channels, ensuring consistency with the hotel’s luxury brand image.
To coordinate partnerships with influencers, media outlets, and luxury travel platforms to enhance brand presence.
To coordinate high-profile events, such as press launches, VIP gatherings, and special promotions, to engage potential and existing guests.
To track and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, using insights to drive continuous improvements.
To manage the hotel’s online reputation through effective communication with guests on review sites and social media platforms.
To collaborate with the hotel’s senior management team to align marketing efforts with business objectives and revenue goals.
As a Marketing Executive, we expect from you:
Experience and education
At least 1–2 years of experience in marketing, preferably within hospitality, luxury, tourism, or lifestyle industries
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.
Luxury Market Insight: In-depth knowledge of the ultra-luxury market, including trends, customer behavior, and competitive dynamics.
Technical Skills
Strategic Vision: Expertise in developing and executing sophisticated marketing strategies that align with the business’s luxury brand identity and business objectives.
Excellent organizational skills with an ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset
Digital Savvy: Understanding of digital marketing, and data analytics.
Excellent communication skills both written and spoken in English and Spanish.
Sophisticated Communication: Maintain an elegant and polished communication style suited for high-net-worth individuals and luxury brand stakeholders.
Innovative Approach: With a forward-thinking mindset, stay ahead of industry trends and embrace new strategies to distinguish the resort in a competitive market.
