      Based at the Mandarin Oriental Paris within the Front office Department in Paris,
      The Assistant front office Manager supervises the Front Office operations in accordance with the hotel’s objectives, performance standards, and quality requirements. The Assistant Front Office Manager supports the Front Office Manager in overseeing and managing all Front Office department operations.

      As Assistant front office Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:

      • Supervise, train, and motivate the reception team to ensure efficient, attentive, and high-quality service in line with the hotel’s standards and procedures.
      • Assists in coordinating and personalizing the VIP guest experience, including room readiness, customized welcome amenities, and follow-up throughout the guest stay.
      • Works closely with all operational departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Concierge, etc.) to ensure a seamless and memorable guest experience.
      • Handles guest complaints, special requests, and service recovery situations promptly and professionally, escalating to management when required.
      • Prepares daily arrival and VIP reports and supports daily briefing meetings to anticipate guest expectations and operational needs.
      • Oversees room allocation and availability to ensure guest preferences and special requests are consistently met.
      • Provides personalized recommendations and local insights, demonstrating strong knowledge of Paris and its surroundings.

      As Assistant front office Manager, we expect from you: 

      • Proven experience in a similar role within a luxury or high-end hospitality environment.
      • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and discreet, with a strong sense of responsibility.
      • Impeccable personal presentation and a polished, professional demeanour.
      • Proactive, resourceful, and available to always respond to guest needs.
      • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine passion for guest interaction and personalized service.
      • Fluent in English
      • Fluency in a 3rd language appreciated (Mandarin, Arabic, Russian)
