About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing, Beijing / within the Food & Beverage Department, the MO Bar Manager is responsible for the daily Operation of MO Bar. The MO Bar Manager reports to the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage.

As MO Bar Manager, you will responsible for the following duties:

• To oversee the smooth running of the bar
• Daily control of inventory and beverages
• Provide leadership and support for all Bar colleagues.
• Plan menus, prices and promotional events for the Bar in order to maximize revenue generating opportunities.
• Identify areas for improvement in service and food & beverage quality by reviewing various service quality audit reports, guest comment cards and guest incident reports, and formulate action plans.

As MO Bar Manager, we expect from you: 

• At least 3 years of management experience in luxury hotel bars or renowned bars
• Sharp market insight and marketing capabilities, be familiar with local beverage market and suppliers
• Fluent spoken and written skills both in Chinese and English
• Strong Bar team leadership
