JOB DESCRIPTION

• Responsibility for operational and strategic procurement processes in compliance with budget targets and with a strong focus on sustainability
• Conducting negotiations with suppliers and service providers
• Obtaining offers and weighing them up according to cost efficiency and feasibility
• Creating and updating the F&B and non-food article master data
• Purchasing all F&B and non-food items, taking into account environmental standards and sustainability goals
• Careful checking and booking of delivery bills, invoices and goods movements
• Coordination of internal orders, deliveries and warehousing
• Monitoring of proper storage and organization of warehouses according to HACCP guidelines.
• Planning, coordination and implementation of monthly and year-end inventories
• Carrying out monthly closings in cooperation with the financial accounting department
• Carrying out and evaluating spot checks
• Management of the purchasing team and cost control
• Close cooperation with the department heads and the F&B Operations and Groups & Events departments

YOUR PROFILE

• Experience in a senior purchasing position, preferably in the hotel industry or a related sector
• Strong negotiation skills and experience in supplier management
• Strong organizational skills and experience in warehouse management
• Knowledge of HACCP guidelines
• Ability to lead and motivate a team
• Excellent communication skills and team spirit
• Strategic mindset and ability to continuously optimize processes
• fluent in German and English
