As Reception Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Front Office, ensuring smooth and efficient service that reflects the Mandarin Oriental standards of luxury and excellence. You will lead and inspire a team dedicated to delivering warm, seamless, and thoughtful service to every guest.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and motivate the reception team to deliver outstanding guest service.
Supervise daily check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Coordinate with other departments to meet guest needs and requests.
Manage room assignments and oversee reservation processes.
Handle guest concerns and resolve issues with professionalism and care.
Ensure daily reports and guest records are maintained accurately.
Train, coach, and support the development of Front Office staff.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel environment.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication in both Spanish and English; additional languages are a plus.
Proficient in hotel management systems.
Guest-focused mindset with a proactive approach to service excellence.
