Seamstress

We are looking for a Seamstress/Tailor for our Laundry Department. Candidate must have 2 years’ experience, preferably in a luxury setting. Responsibilities include but not limited to, performing alterations and repairs to colleague’s uniforms and guest’s clothing as requested; final work must be precise and presented in an elegant manner. Inspecting guest laundry to ensure there is no damage to garment prior to processing. Keeping accurate control of uniform stock inventory by recording every time a garment is removed and restocking as needed. Posting charges accurately on guest’s bill and issue copies to charges to front desk department. A flexible schedule is required, including weekends and holidays. This is a full-time position only.

The Seamstress will report directly to the Laundry Manager.
