About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai within the Spa Department in Dubai, the Spa Concierge is responsible for, but not limited to booking all spa treatments, explaining services to guests, perform Point of Sales activities including retail and checking in and checking out all guests in a professional manner. Spa Concierge reports to Spa Treatments Manager.

As a Spa Concierge, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Follow all corporate and hotel policies, including the MOHG Code of Conduct, and comply with laws, regulations, and required standards (LQE, MOQA, Forbes).
  • Support learning and development activities, uphold Safe, Sound and Sustainable practices, and follow the MOHG Social Media Policy.
  • Protect guest and colleague confidentiality, use hotel systems appropriately, and avoid misconduct such as harassment or discrimination.
  • Assist with all spa operations including reception, retail, tea lounges, and consultation areas, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
  • Provide excellent guest service through warm greetings, spa tours, professional behavior, effective communication, and smooth guest experiences.
  • Manage scheduling, sales, guest records, emails, and feedback systems accurately; support events and meet set sales targets.

As a Spa Concierge, we expect from you: 

  • Senior school qualification is required; hotel school graduates are preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a service environment is mandatory.
  • Experience in a 5-star hotel and/or the Middle East region is an advantage.
  • Good computer skills are essential.
  • Effective verbal and written English communication is required (minimum intermediate); Arabic is desirable.
  • Must have a mature, outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
