About the job

Based at the Emirates palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi within the Spa Department, The Spa Therapist is responsible to provide excellent customer service while performing massage therapies and body treatment as assign by the Spa Operations Manager. The general responsibilities include monitoring stock promoting the lines of products to clients keeping all working area and equipment clean and organized. The Spa Therapist reports to the Spa Operations Manager.

As a Spa Therapist, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Create an exceptional first impression by welcoming guests with warmth, professionalism, and personalized attention, addressing each guest by name.
• Deliver bespoke massage therapies and body treatments to the highest standards, in strict accordance with the spa’s treatment protocols and training guidelines.
• Consistently uphold the luxury service standards of the spa and hotel, ensuring every guest experience is refined, seamless, and memorable.
• Conduct professional consultations to understand guest needs and recommend suitable treatments, enhancements, and aftercare to optimize results and satisfaction.
• Ensure treatment rooms, equipment, and products are immaculately prepared, sanitized, and presented before and after each service.
• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and ambiance throughout all spa and treatment areas.
• Accurately update therapist logbooks, treatment records, and guest preferences to support personalized service.
• Participate in ongoing training, refresher programs, and skill enhancement initiatives to continuously refine expertise and service excellence.
• Adhere fully to spa and hotel policies, procedures, health and safety standards, and professional ethics.

As a Spa Therapist, we expect from you: 

• Previous experience in the same role in a luxury hotel is required, resort experience is a plus
• Strong and Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on delivering personalized guest service
• Fluency in English required; additional languages is an advantage
