Responsibilities

  • Pre-event planning – Provide expert advice to production teams and event team to ensure sound and video requirements meet guest requirements, efficiently with existing facilities at venues.
  • AV equipment setup and technical support – Provide technical and installation expertise for sound and video during events and facilitate support with venue audiovisual installations.
  • AV maintenance and Upkeep – Responsible for the maintenance and configuration of AV equipment, ensuring the performance and quality necessary to maintain the highest standard of output and provide improvement solutions.
  • IT support and Incident Resolution – Providing on-site assistance to colleagues and guests with any IT related issues.
  • Preventive and corrective maintenance of room technology and colleague’s devices, patching OS and vulnerabilities.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base with common solutions and teach colleagues how to apply them.
  • Any other duties, which may be assigned to you from time to time as directed by your Manager. 

Requirements

  • Technical Degree in Sound and IT Systems is preferred.
  • Previous experience as AV technician and customer-facing IT support.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in IT support to customers and working with AV at events is required.
  • Computer and network skills
  • Eager to learn to work with high quality standards.
  • Good command of the Spanish & English language, other languages are a plus.
  • Good communication skills
  • Afternoon shift. Flexible hours including weekend.
