The Hotel:

As Chef de Rang Room Service, you will be responsible for the following duties:    

  • Professional in-room serving of food and drinks    
  • Professional advice and customer care for our guests     
  • Excellent product and sales knowledge    
  • Deliver in room dining order to the guests in a timely manner, within the quoted time  
  • Check accuracy of order before delivering – be sure it is complete.  
  • Assisting and preparing all VIP amenities   
  • Preparing all orders and setting up tables or tray according to the order in timely manner complying with our quality and hygiene standards   
  • Picking up the table after the use by the guests or as per guest’s request  
  • Preparing the required Mise en Place and keeping the Room Service area clean  
  • Booking all transactions in the cash register system and carrying out correct cash accounting    
  • Making sure that all product served are accounted for on the final bill before presenting it to the guest  
  • Complying with hygiene regulations and cleanliness within the framework of the HACCP guidelines

As Chef de Rang Room Service, we expect from you:    

  •  A completed vocational training in the upscale hotel industry or gastronomy. Ideally 2-3 years of professional experience in a comparable position    
  • Communicative skills - guests will contact you with complaints as well as positive feedback     
  • High level of commitment as well as a structured, results-oriented and independent way of working    
  • High quality awareness     
  • Engaging communication and expression skills, open-mindedness as well as teamwork skills     
  • Flexibility and resilience - your position includes weekend and holiday shifts    
  • Excellent manners and well-groomed appearance, as well as a positive charisma  
  • Very good knowledge of English. Further foreign language skills are an advantage
