The legendary Hotel Palace Luzern first opened in 1906 and is in the heart of the city, on the shores of Lake Lucerne. After a complete multi-million-franc renovation, the Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern is delighted to reopen the doors for its colleagues and guests this summer.    

The Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern will comprise 136 rooms and suites offering excellent views of the lake and mountains.    

Three restaurants, one bar together with a variety of social and meeting facilities, a spa and a fitness room will enchant our guests.   

   

As Laundry Supervisor, you will be responsible for the following duties:     

  • Managing the Laundry team 

  • Project and task Management 

  • Receiving, checking and delivering guest laundry   

  • Ensuring that guest linen is properly cleaned   

  • Professional sorting, cleaning, ironing and packaging of guest laundry    

  • Managing and issuing hotel uniforms   

  • Assisting with stocktaking  

  

As Laundry Supervisor, we expect from you:     

  • Experience in the housekeeping sector, especially upscale hotel industry  

  • A strong customer service orientation and autonomous way of working   

  • Flexibility - your position includes weekend and holiday shifts   

  • Good manners, a strong sense of quality awareness    

  • Open-mindedness, a sense of responsibility and teamwork    

  • Good knowledge of German and English. Further foreign language skills are an advantage

Als Laundry Supervisor:in werden Sie verantwortlich für folgende Aufgaben sein:    

  • Verantwortlich  für das Laundry Team 

  • Übernahme von Projekten und weiteren administrativen Aufgaben  

  • Annahme, Kontrolle und Lieferung der Gästewäsche   

  • Sicherstellung der einwandfreien Reinigung der Gästewäsche   

  • Fachgerechte Sortierung, Reinigung, Bügeln und Verpackung der Gästewäsche    

  • Verwaltung und Ausgabe der Hoteluniform   

  • Unterstützung bei Inventuren   

  

Als Laundry Supervisor:in erwarten wir von Ihnen:     

  • Erfahrung im hauswirtschaftlichen Bereich, insbesondere gehobene Hotelindustrie  

  • Eine ausgeprägte Dienstleistungsorientierung und eigenverantwortliche Arbeitsweise   

  • Flexibilität – zu Ihrer Position gehören Wochenend- und Feiertagsschichten   

  • Gute Umgangsformen, ein hohes Mass an Qualitätsbewusstsein    

  • Aufgeschlossenheit, Verantwortungsbewusstsein und Teamfähigkeit    

  • Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse. Weitere Fremdsprachenkenntnisse sind von Vorteil
